I have heard from many people how tough things are...and from others
that they are sailing through this marvelous Mars energy. It can be very
productive and it can also be very argumentative and hostile. We have
had many a tragedy and yet, some wonderful individual experiences.
Such duality...such paradoxes. Lets look at this.
Interestingly, while looking at this paradox, I was reminded of one of my
favorite artists, M.C. Escher. He did some marvelous work in perspective, metamorphosis and explored (to me) the constant flow of everything – Infinity.
I saw this especially through his renditions of staircases that never ended
and portrayed a movement into the unknown. It had me thinking quite literally
of our lives and how we are actually all living a life as first year students at Hogwarts...the famed University of Mystery and Magic in Harry Potter books.
In these movies, staircases flow, ebbing and waning at any given time and
the students just got used to traversing them quite easily. What a metaphor
for life in general. We are all doing this every moment of every day.
However in our own life, are we choosing our staircase? Are we allowing
others to choose the direction of our staircase? Is it an up staircase, or a
down staircase? Isn't it amazing to see a sign that says, “Down Staircase
or Up Staircase”? Isn't a staircase just a staircase until you choose whether
to go up or down? And sometimes it can be fun just standing still and
watching everyone else on the staircase. So much like the students at
Hogwarts, the University of Life.
No matter how we walk a path, sooner or later the terrain will take us in
many directions. This includes up and down, over and around; but then,
it will all depend on our perspective as to how we handle it. One way to
handle it is with grace, love, compassion and respect for yourself and
others. No one is left off the staircase. Reach out with your hand and
welcome others onto your staircase. We all face them. Go into your heart.
Be the Divine Within. Know the frequency you want to be a part of.
You are Love and So Appreciated...and sometimes you just have to go
down the up staircase...that's the fun!
In Love and Gratitude,
